Recital – First week in June
The recital is the children’s way to show their parents, family and
friends the accomplishments they have mastered through the year of
attending classes at Dee Dots. The recital each year has a theme and the
beautiful costumes, professional lighting and sound to go with the theme.
The recital is exciting to the
children and their parents and is always a big hit!
Our show will be held at the
Kingsway Regional High School. We must order costumes early to get them
in time for any alterations that may be needed and for pictures.
Costumes deposits must be paid for
by January , 2012. Costumes for each class taken are expected to cost
approximately $60-$65. A deposit of $40 is due in January. This does not
include tights or shoes.
Once a student has purchased a
costume, it is expected he/she will be in the show. Please remember the
children have been working on their routines for the recital. Please talk
to him/her about the importance of honoring a commitment and remind them
how much fun it will be! Thank you!
Our rehearsal will be Friday
evening before the performance for the younger children, this rehearsal
will be approximately, one hour. There will be a second hour, also.
Rehearsal is mandatory to perform
in the show and all students, (except Fairytales), are expected to stay
backstage during the entire show while parents are asked to stay in the
audience. Thank you!
